Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day

I'm not sure where this originated and I'm sure many of you have seen it already but I wanted to share it in honor of today.

"This week we remember all babies born sleeping, whom we have carried but never met, those we have held but could not take home or the ones that came home but didn't stay. In memory of all lost angels."

Before I had Baby E, I had suffered a miscarriage. In late May 2010, My husband (then boyfriend) and I were on vacation in Maryland. On the last day before we were to go home, I had experienced some severe cramping. I spent that night in the hospital where I learned that I had miscarried. It was very early on in the pregnancy but I was beyond devastated because I had wanted this child more than anything.

Tonight at 7pm I, like many others, will be lighting a candle for The International Wave of Light in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
