The Joyful Giraffe {Review}

I'm always looking for a great deal on cloth diapers and cloth diapering accessories and recently discovered a lovely online shop called The Joyful Giraffe which features those things and so much more!

Before I tell you more about the shop, here is a little bio from Kate, The owner of The Joyful Giraffe:

I'm a wife to a great husband and a mom to 2 cloth diapered kiddos (ages 1 & 3 yrs).  I grew up in Massachusetts, met my husband on a missions trip in Mexico and I now live with my family in Illinois.  Before children, I taught at the high school and community college levels.  My son was born in 2009 and then began my cloth diapering journey.  We started using cloth to save money and the more I used them and learned about them, the more it became a hobby and quite possibly a fluff addiction!

The more loads of cloth diapers I washed, the more I found myself looking for other reusable products that I could use with my family and around the house.  I stopped buying paper towels and paper napkins and have been trying all sorts of reusable products :)  I love to feature handmade products from work-at-home moms and dads in my store.

The Joyful Giraffe features new and gently used cloth diapers and cloth diaper accessories plus the following:

  • Swim diapers
  • Natural laundry & cleaning supplies
  • Reusable sandwich and snack bags
  • Children's puzzles, books & more
  • Nursing pads & covers
  • Natural skincare
  • Burp cloths
  • Pacifier clips
  • and More!
The Joyful Giraffe caters to a your cloth diapering and reusable needs. The shop's diapers are very reasonably priced and they have a large selection of Kawaii diapers which include OS Pockets (snaps), OS Heavy Duty HD2 diapers (aplix with suede cloth inner) and OS Goodnight Heavy Wetters (snaps) which I've been wanting to try.

While many products The Joyful Giraffe carries are from popular brands, they also feature handmade products by WAH (Work at home) moms and dads which I love! This includes products from Sweet Bobbins, Green Bumkin and others.

My favorite section of The Joyful Giraffe's website is definitely the PreOwned & Gently Used section where I recently spotted some awesome bargains including a Snappi fastener for just $1.00, 100 Cutey Baby Disposable Biodegradable Liners for only $2.99 and my FAVORITE, a super cute small Planet Wise wet bag in Art Deco for ONLY $6.50!! I actually ended up purchasing the Planet Wise wet bag and Cutey Baby liners because it was just too good of a deal to pass up!

The website itself is very easy to navigate and the sections are clearly labeled. To order an item or items, simply click on "order" and the item will be added to your cart. When you are ready to checkout, click on "view your cart" and begin the easy checkout process.

My checkout process went smoothly, I entered my mailing information and was able to pay through PayPal and use my PayPal funds. You can also pay safely through PayPal using a credit Card. Once you have placed your order, you can track it on The Joyful Giraffe website using your email address and order number.

They offer domestic shipping for a low flat rate cost of just $6.00 and orders over $59 receive FREE domestic shipping!

Like I mentioned above, The Joyful Giraffe also has swim diapers available for purchase that include Gabby's Swim Diapers and Bummis Swimmi Swim Diapers. Three (3) lucky readers are going to have the chance to win their choice of brand, size and print from The Joyful Giraffe! Check out this post for your chance to enter to win! Which swim diaper do you prefer?

Stay up to date on new products and promotions by following The Joyful Giraffe on Facebook.

I was not compensated in any way, shape or form for writing this review. I just wanted to share this great shop with all of my readers. All opinions are my honest ones. I made a purchase from The Joyful Giraffe and paid full price for my items.
