Button Bumpers Night Time Fitted Diaper {Review} #ClothDiapers

I don't have any issues with E being a heavy wetter during the day but when it comes to at night, its a completely different story. There has been a handful of time that we've woken up to soaked bedding because of E's cloth diapers leaking. Sometimes I'll have to change her in the middle of the night because she can feel the wetness of the diaper.

We recently had the opportunity to try a one size fits most Night Time Fitted Diaper from Button Bumpers. A couple of weeks ago I had purchased an AIO from them which I love so I couldn't wait to try the Night Time diaper!

The Night Time Fitted was originally created as a custom for a mother whose child kept getting soaked through out the night. A tester diaper was made and then after trying it, the mother ended up ordering 13 more! Since then, Button Bumpers has had requests for this diaper so it has become one that they keep stocked.

The diaper features an anti-pill fleece lining which is a great stay dry material and the outer is a super soft flannel. The flannel print on our diaper is elephants on a pink background which is adorable!

The inside of the Night Time Fitted Diapers are made with:
  • Two layers of unbleached natural cotton muslin
  • Inner soaker pad made of two layers of organic bamboo velour
  • Two layers of cotton terry cloth and two layers of either jersey organic cotton
  • Hemp or organic cotton and hemp fleece

The extra muslin helps to take the diaper longer to get wet on the outside because it works as a wetness barrier. The diaper is also designed with space for soakers (if necessary).

One of my favorite features of the diaper are the snaps. There are 2 at the bottom and one at the top as seen below. The bottom two snaps keep the diaper secure and in place which is great for us because E moves around a lot when she's sleeping. With the Night Time Fitted I don't have to worry about the flaps coming out which can potentially cause leaking and has happened to us in the past with other night time diapers.

I couldn't wait to put the Night Time Fitted Diaper on E and used it with a fleece cover the first time we tried it. I'm happy to say that she slept through the entire night and didn't seem to feel the wet diaper, probaly because of the fleece lining. When I took the diaper off to change E, It was heavy which to me meant that the diaper did it's job and absorbed all that wetness!

Getting ready for bed
The Night Time Fitted from Button Bumpers has become one of my go-to night Time diapers. We've used the Night Time Fitted rotating between regular covers and our fleece cover. I prefer to use the diaper with a fleece cover because I feel like it adds to the breathability of the diaper. I also sometimes use a soaker for extra absorbency.

Are you looking for a great Night Time diaper? Then Button Bumper's Night Time Fitted is for you! I recommend this diaper for at night or even for long road trips.

Buy it!
The Night Time Fitted Diaper can be purchased in the Button Bumpers shop on Etsy for just $15!

  6. How long does it take that diaper to dry?

    1. Do you mean after washing? I just threw it in my dryer after washing with my other diapers, took just as long as it took my other diaper to dry. I normally leave the dryer running for 50 minutes. =)

    1. Hi Kristi, What about soakers? I really don't like using covers that I have to snap but soakers are so easy to just pull over the diaper. =)

  11. We just started using fitteds and we are really like it. I still have a lot to learn about them but really like them. These are definitely cute

  12. Wow! That is impressive, and for just $15 I might have to get myself a couple! The fitteds that I have right now are barely good for daytime use. We are using hemp prefolds at night which is working okay, but these sound nice!

  19. I am so glad to see the emphasis on cloth diapers. My generation filled up the landfills with disposables and these are a much better solution.

  33. We are about to start using cloth at night and my daughter regularly fills up a disposable. I'm going to need a really good cloth diaper.

  34. We don't have any special night time diapers, but I think that is our next step. We don't have leakage problems usually, but we need something that absorbs a lit and does it quickly like this.

  35. I have been looking for a great diaper for nights, and this seems like a good option. Mine LO is not quite so bad of heavy wetter as when she was smaller, but she does still experience leaks on some nights, and maybe this diaper would eliminate that!

  36. Baby is due in 3.5 weeks and there's still so much to learn about cloth diapering!!!

  38. We do not yet have any fitted diapers. Hubby put me on a no-diaper-buying restriction until at least October. : ( After reading your review of the Bottom Bumper diaper and seeing that worked so well for you at night just makes me even more antsy for a fitted!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I would love to win this! We have been using cloth for 6 months but we are just now entering the world of nighttime cloth! It can be very challenging!

    ReplyDelete
  40. I've not seen a diaper with two snaps on the bottom. I'm glad it works well for a mover! Do the two snaps on the bottom also prevent wing droop?

  41. we don't have a heavy wetter, but i swear by fitted for night time...i can only imagine they are invaluable to those with heavy wetters!

  42. I have a heavy wetter and recently had to switch to disposables for nighttime while I look into using fitteds..... this one looks awesome! I would love to win it to see if I can get my little one out of sposies at night!

  43. I am going to order one! I've been using a disposable to prevent night time leaks but I hate that she wakes up with those little gel beads on her bum the next morning!

  44. What a great price! I spent twice this much for one pair of good big night time underwear for my toddlers, and I have to put two on them at night! I also love that we can pick our own print, makes it personal and sweet. Everything thing we wear should be made with hemp.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I love that it comes in hemp fleece and the patterns are cute which is always a plus.

  46. Love the concept of fitteds that are one size and have the adjustable rise like a standard pocket diaper. Those are the type my husband can use. :-)

  47. Just starting to cd, would love to try this out.

  48. Sounds like so many layers but the diaper still looks really trim!

  49. I intend to cloth diaper but leaks do seem like an issue for many people, which makes me nervous about trying it!

  50. Wow! That is an impressive list of inside materials -- I bet it works! We've always been fans of mixing natural fibers with other super absorbent materials for night time :)

    ReplyDelete
  51. We have a heavy night wetter as well! After reading all the materials the diaper contains I believe it would definitely do the trick! Thanks for sharing!

  52. My first child was not a night wetter but my 2nd is. Sometimes I change her in the middle of the night (she is 2 and is potty training). I may need to try this

    ReplyDelete
  53. Wow these look great. We are using sposies at night cause I just cant find something that wont leak . Going to try these soon.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Wow! Love the idea of having so many different types of natural fibers! Like the stay dry feature of the fleece too- no need to add a liner like I do with fitteds. I need to try one of these out!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I agree, the combo of natural fibers in this diaper is awesome! Definitely would be confident putting it on for sleepytime.

  70. Thank you for this awesome giveaway!!!

  71. I like that this has a anti pill fleece lining. I also like that it sustains liquid throughout the night, so I won't have to worry about leakage. My son hates feeling wet, if he's wet even a little bit, he screams and cries. So I'm hoping, like your daughter, because of the fleece lining he won't notice that he is wet.

  72. Wow these are great. I like that it's made with muslin too. Such a great product.
