Joovy StepTool Step Stool {Review} @joovyOO

Hand washing is so important in my household. We wash our hands before meals, between diaper changes, when we get home from being out, and any other situation that calls for hand washing. E is at that age where I want to start guiding her to wash her hands on her own. I normally hold her over the sink to wash her hands but she's getting too heavy for me to do this so we decided on getting a step stool.

Before coming across the Joovy StepTool, My husband and I went out to look at different step stools that E could use. The ones we found seemed flimsy and not sturdy at all. Actually, there was not one step stool I saw in the stores we went to that seemed safe. Like any parent, my child's safety is very important and there was no way I would let E use a step stool that didn't look safe.
  
When I saw the Joovy StepTool, the first thing I noticed about it was the non-slip rubber at the top and bottom which ensures both safety and stability. The rubber bottom grips to the floor so your little one doesn't slide. The step stool is also very solid, sturdy, and is entirely BPA, PVC and Phthalate free.  

I couldn't wait for E to try the StepTool! I brought it over to my mother's house to have my nephew and E try it together. The step stool was perfect for my 3 year old nephew Angel. 16 month old E was a little too short to reach my mother's sink but was able to reach our bathroom sink at home with the StepTool. Just to give you an idea, E is about 30 inches tall, The StepTool itself is 6.25 inches, and from the floor to the sink is 31 inches. It gave E the perfect reach for her to be able to wash her hands under the stream of water. 
  

The step stool makes reaching easier not just for little ones but for adults also! It can support up to 300 lbs and I've personally used it to stand on so that I could change a light bulb in one of my tall standing lamps. Using the StepTool was so much more convenient then having to pull out a step ladder!
