In the first few months of Baby E's life, I was diapering her in pockets, prefolds, or fitteds. Once E grew out of her prefolds and fitteds, I just continued to use her one size pocket diapers. I really did miss using fitteds because I liked the idea of not having to stuff a diaper with an insert.

Tweet Organic Toddler Tee Set from Text Message Baby Review

I recently received the Tweet Organic Cotton Tee Set from Text Message Baby for Baby E's 1st Birthday Bash. Not only did this set come with an adorable blue organic cotton tee that features a cute chick emoticon, it also came with a burlap bag and veggie crayons!

Depending on brand, E usually wears size 12-18 months or 18-24. The Text Message Baby shirt was a size 2T which was a little big but expected. She still looked adorable in it! The organic cotton is very soft and continues to remain soft even after a few washes.

We attended a benefit this past Sunday for my husband's 4 year old cousin who has cancer =(

They were raffling off a ton of stuff so I put E's name on all of our raffle tickets. E was napping when they called out her name so I gladly accepted the prize for her =P

Anytime Costumes for your Costume Needs!

We recently were invited to a "Princess Party." Its a growing birthday party trend where little girls get dressed up in princess costumes for the occasion. The first thing I thought about was where I was going to find a costume. Then I found Anytime Costumes which carries costumes for adults and children of all ages, all year round! Not only does Anytime costumes offer costumes for adults and children, they also have costumes for your pet!

Their website is easy to navigate and they have a ton of cute toddler costumes including animal, superhero, fairytale costumes and more! There were several princess costumes and I ended up choosing the Disney Infant Snow White Ballerina Costume for Baby E.

Before I became a mother, I worked in childcare. One of the things I learned in my experience was the importance of labeling your child's belongings.

Now let me tell you, caregivers and teachers LOVE when parents label their child's things. It makes their job so much easier, especially if something goes missing! You wouldn't believe how many children have the same type of bottle/sippy cup, jacket, or even pair of shoes. Labeling items prevents mix-ups and if your child loses an item, it can easily be recovered by simply readying a label.

Wordless Wednesday: Potty Time!

We've been practicing EC (Elimination Communication) so whenever E gives me cues, I sit her on her Pourty. We don't use EC consistently but I 'm hoping to start soon. Here's a shot I got of E on her potty and looking at her Once Upon a Potty book.

I love handmade items and I'm a huge supporter of shops on Etsy. Sweetly Made (Just for You) is a wonderful shop where you can find handmade hats/headbands, PDF knitting patterns, and personalized Christmas stockings.

I recently had the opportunity to review one of Sweetly Made's beautifully hand knitted button up headbands. These headbands come in red, light pink, rose heather, off-white and orange. The headband features a lovely hand knitted flower and buttons in the back.

Pin it Tuesday: Easter Basket Ideas

I feel like this month is flying by! Before you know it, Easter is going to be here! Easter lands on April 8th this year which happens to be four days after Baby E's first birthday.

I've started pinning a few items that I think would be great for a one year old's Easter basket. Check them out below!

I absolutely love the Howard B. Wigglebottom series and the messages behind each story! For those of you who are not familiar with Howard B. Wigglebottom and the We Do Listen Foundation, We Do listen is a Non Profit Foundation that creates educational books, games, and songs to help young children learn life lessons and build self esteem.

Baby E can't seem to keep cups and bowls on her tray. I normally place her food in a bowl and it ends up all over and she tosses the bowl to the floor. I gave in and bought one of those snack dispensers but still, E would toss it to the ground.

While browsing the internet, I found what a product that looked like the perfect solution to my problem. The Highchair-Helper is a product that grips tight to cups and bowls so that your little one cannot remove them! It such a simple but extremely useful idea.
